Pļaviņu HES ir hidroelektrostacija Latvijā, Daugavas baseinā. Izbūvēta uz Daugavas pie Aizkraukles pilsētas. Ar desmit hidroagregātiem uzstādītās jaudas ziņā ir lielākā hidroelektrostacija Baltijā un otra lielākā Eiropas Savienībā. Pirmais Pļaviņu HES hidroagregāts tika iedarbināts 1965. gada decembrī, savukārt pilnīgā ekspluatācijā Valsts komisija elektroražotni pieņēma 1968. gadā.…
