Another suggestion that would help in the preservation of the constitution is the limitations on executive and legislative powers to amend the constitution as well as de linking the appointment members of parliament from the functions they carry out in Parliament. A mechanism needs to be found by which parli8amentarians may be made more accountable to the people responsible for putting them there.
In conclusion it may be stated that this essay brings nothing new to the topic of constitutional protection and the independence of the judiciary but merely re emphasises the need for people to be conscientious about what is going on around them and not to imagine that the issue of judicial independence and constitutional protection does not concern them.
