KOMERCĶĪLA –
ir ķīlas tiesība, kas Komercķīlas likumā noteiktajā kārtībā reģistrēta Komercķīlu reģistrā
Ķīlas tiesība ir tāda tiesība uz svešu lietu, uz kuras pamata šī lieta nodrošina kreditoram viņa prasījumu tādā kārtā, ka viņš var no tās dabūt šā prasījuma samaksu (Civillikuma 1278.pants).
Komercķīlu reģistrs - komercķīlu datu bāze, kuru kārto Latvijas Republikas Uzņēmumu reģistrs, un nodrošina tā publiskumu.
