Biography of Charles Dickens

Famous writer Charles Dickens was born in 1812 in Portsmouth. His family wasn’t wealthy. His father was a clerk and earned relatively little money. In 1822 his family decided to move to London. Charles went to school but his education was interrupted by need to take poorly paid work in factory. His family became poorer every day. It was a terrible time for young Charles.
