Caricature and Comics

While they continue to use the classic techniques, for example, metaphorical depictions, intertextuality and inference, they can use the technological advancement to their advantage in order to create digital comics. The new type of comics offers new possibilities: it is not necessary to print them as they could be posted online for all to see, they can be animated, and have layers of information, such as additional information, links and embedded files.
In conclusion, I believe that comics and caricatures are a powerful medium that is often overlooked due to their seemingly unserious and entertaining nature, while they can influence the reader’s opinions and attitude by employing various techniques that stimulate the minds and imagination, and create the desired effect through a few words and images.
