Egypt was very unchanging for a few reasons. The largest reason was because they really didn't want to upset the gods. They thought that if they changed something, the gods would become angry, as they were the ones who started the society. Also, there were no problems with the society. And why would they make changes, if there is nothing wrong with it to begin with? Another reason I thought of is that after each one of the kingdoms, the central authority goes out of power, and the civilization has to start over again, which wouldn't help them at all.
