Sagatavotu zivi sagriezt porciju gabalos, salikt mala vai ugunsdrošā traukā, uzbērt sāli, pipariem un sīki sakapātiem sīpolu lokiem. Apslakat ar eļļu un atstāt aukstumā 1-2 stundas.
Sagriezt cepjamo papīru priekš zivs gabalu ietīšanas, uzziest uz papīra plānu kārtiņu ar sviestu. Pēc tam rūpīgi ietīt katru gabaliņu.
Ieziest ar eļļu ugunsdrošu trauku, ielikt tajā ietīto zivi un liek cepeškrāsnī. Cep tik ilgi, kamēr papīrs kļūs brūngans.
Pasniedz ar vārītiem kartupeļiem un atsevišķi ar majonēzi ar mārrutkiem.
