Atēnu akropole ir sena citadele, kas atrodas kalnainā atsegumā virs Grieķijas galvaspilsētas Atēnām. Tika uzcelta arhitekta Fidīja vadībā. Akropole atrodas uz apmēram 156 m v.j.l. augstas klints. V gadsimtā to pārvērta par kristiešu baznīcu, savukārt vēlāk, pēc turku iekarojumiem, tā kļuva par mošeju. Tā ir iekļauta UNESCO Pasaules mantojuma sarakstā 1987. gadā. …
