Introduction

The Swiss Confederation was founded in 13th century as a defensive alliance among three cantons
In 1648 it becomes an independant Nation
The capital of Switzerland is Bern City
Switzerland is located in Central Europe, east of France, north of Italy and is almost 10 times smaller than California
Even though Switzerland is a small country, its people do speak no less than four different languages. Everything has to be printed in three different languages (german, french and italian)
