The Fast-Food Company

Situation:
One of the world’s biggest fast-food chains has become the target of a campaign by environmental groups concerning the amount of waste this company generates. Environmental record isn’t worse than that of any of its major competitors, but because of its international profile and teenagers working for this company, the campaign could ruin company’s reputation.
Company packages its meals in polystyrene containers which are recyclable, but frequently taken away by customers and discarded elsewhere. The Environmental Defence Fund has become very interested in this case.
