Outside of Atlanta Georgia on a small plantation known as Tara is were the movie begins on a beautiful day. The plantation is very beautiful and full of life. Although, most of this movie was set in the time of the war in Atlanta, Georgia, when most of the slaves were being set free. It was very chaotic, there were bodies lying in the streets. Homes were demolished and people were fleeing the town. Scarlet then went home to Tara only to find it had changed dramatically. It was dead and the home was almost empty the soldiers had taken almost all the food and left the servants to starve. Scarlet brought the home back a live only to leave to return to Atlanta. She then created a beautiful home for her and her husband rhett. After rhett left her she return home to Tara once again.
Overall, this movie had a very big impact on how much better our lives are today compared to how they were then. …
