A world without borders. Politically it is still just a fantasy but in many other ways our world has no borders for a long time now. If we take a look at our planet’s political map, we can see lots of countries who are very unlikely to open their boundaries or to unite with some other countries. Of course we can talk about international co-operation and unions like European union but only to a certain extent. And to know that extent is very difficult that is why there are so many political disputes and misunderstandings. Looking at the political situation that we have today, there is very little hope to see our world as one big country in the future with no borders at all. However, perhaps it is not bad to have these borders, they do maintain a certain order after all.
There are many fields though where borders have been erased a long time ago. The name of this erasor is progress of technology. It started when the phone was invented. Nowadays we can hardly imagine our lifes without the possibility to call everywhere we want to. It seems so easy and natural, that we don’t even think that sometimes making a call and waiting just for a few seconds we are crossing thousands of kilometers!…
