If we compare school system in Soviet times and now, we can see many differences between them. That is why I interviewed my mother, father and grandmother and they told me about school system in Soviet times.
At first, I asked them about discipline and punishments. My mother and father went to school in about 1975-1985. The discipline then was very strict. In lessons they couldn`t speak, laugh or do some other things which didn`t concerned to lessons, they couldn`t offer their own opinion so much as we can do it now, they had to agree with teachers. In breaks they couldn`t run or even go somewhere out of the school, they had to go round in hall. In the middle of hall were a line and if somebody was disobeying, running, shouting or ignoring some other rules, he had to stand in front of line and everyone looked at him.…
