This can be stopped by putting encryptions on the network, to allow only authorized computers and other devices (Walery, 2004). Second, wireless networks tend to be less quick when it comes to the sending of files; it also tends to just a little bit slower than a wired network in the realm of internet connections, although this disadvantage can hardly be noticed when the student is surfing the web.
Conclusion
All in all, I believe that the students enrolled in schools using wireless technology do benefit from using the different technological tools. Wireless technology creates freedom for a student, allowing them to do their school work anywhere on campus; this eliminates the grief a student gets about sitting in the library on that nice day writing a paper. With wireless technologies, the student can sit outside, catching some sunrays, yet still be able to write that paper, research information, and investigate databases and other library resources from the comfort of their beach blanket set up on the lawn of the Bank's Student Center.
