Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly transformed societies, economies, and technological landscapes. Recognizing the opportunities and risks associated with AI, the European Union has developed a comprehensive legal and ethical framework aimed at ensuring AI technologies are safe, transparent, and aligned with fundamental rights. The EU’s AI regulation establishes principles for development, deployment, and oversight of AI systems across member states, addressing issues such as safety, liability, data protection, and accountability.
