All novels, all poetry, are built on the never-ending contest in ourselves of good and evil. Everyday we see people acting like good citizens. They aren't going out and building houses for starving orphans with AIDs, but they aren't going around causing mayhem either. So since they aren't doing anything wrong, we group them into the "good" category. Because, they could be doing something worse, right? We get used to people acting "good", and don't think too much of it. As a result of this uneven arrangement of what is considered good and evil, "evil" is rarely seen on a daily basis. Therefore it the often the target of over-exaggeration, and much more interesting stories. To most people evil is unfamiliar, and thus, exciting as hell.…
