When I went to McDonalds I tried to take notice of everything, but what I focused on was the cashier and her duties. While I was standing in line I couldn't help but notice how much like an assembly line it seemed. When it comes to efficiency, I focused more on what she didn't do. I was the one who had to get my napkins, ketchup, and drinking straw, so it would seem I am paying to be a waitress for McDonalds. Also along the lines of efficiency, the way she took my order would relate, I ordered a #1, that seems pretty efficient, I barely had to speak the young lady and she only had to push one button making it easy on both of us. I did have to say that did not want to be super sized for just .22$ more and that I did want Coke to drink, so she went and got a pre-measured cup and put a regulated amount of ice in it, then she put the cup on a drink dispenser and out came a calculated amount of Coke that stopped just at the brim of the cup perfectly. While the drink was filling, I was paying for food I haven't even received yet, and after I did she took the order of the man behind me in the exact same fashion as she did mine. By this time someone else had made my burgers and fries and put them on that little conveyer belt thing they have and she went and got them gave them to me and I took the food to my seat. …
