George Orwell is one of the most famous authors of dystopian fiction. He skilfully incorporates many literary devices, symbols and themes in a unique blend that is all his own; this demonstrates his style. As a satirist he attempts to convey his feelings about many issues using his unique style.
In the beginning of his essay entitled ‘Why I Write’ the author tells us about his childhood and what influence it had on his decision to become a writer. He was not the only child in the family, but because of the gap of fife years and of no father’s upbringing he got bends of the only child. He had nobody with whom to play, so he had a lot to imagine. This childish imagination turned to writing of short stories and it was the beginning of his writing career.
George Orwell makes new opening in his essay – he divides the reason of writing on four separate motives which in different degrees, individually for every writer, makes one whole purpose.…
