In conclusion it is my belief that in order for Paramount to improve their standards of efficiency, quality and productivity that they should do the following. They need to review the way in which their workers are employed. They need to look at the terms and conditions of employment specified in the contract or practised through internal human resource policies. On the whole I believe that Paramount will find it more efficient (and financially beneficial, in the long term) to employ most workers on permanent contracts and to offer them terms and conditions which nurture a high-trust psychological contract and workforce stability. I believe that currently the high level of employment through non standard contracts, and the lack of motivation that this seems to have led to is damaging their productivity and service quality. It is also my belief that Paramount need to improve their hygiene factors compared to what their employees currently have. Better working conditions will help to attract more full time staff, and more reliable casual staff. It is my belief that by doing the following and by doing it soon Paramount may be able to improve the three criteria of efficiency, productivity and quality enough in order to be ISO9003 compliant by the end of a twelve month period.…
