5. CONCLUSION
Psychology is a very new science and that raises many questions as to its validity. Many mistakes were made at the start-up of psychology; many are being made now. There are people that tend to give psychology a bad name because of unscientific investigations. Psychology is also not very precise.
Yes, in the study of psychology, not all the answers have been found yet, mostly due to the complexity that this study is composed of. Just because it is so hard to find all the answers, should the study be disbanded? Psychology has made a good start and more is discovered everyday. Its scientific methods are not as precise as the ones other sciences use yet when hypotheses are not valid, they are mostly rejected. The more that is known as the subject is, the more precise it will get, until it can finally climb the pedestal on which the well established very precise sciences stand. The conclusion of this essay is that Psychology is a science, a social science, a natural science, because so many facts have been and are being found in it. No it doesn't have all the answers, but as long as it finds answers and uses scientific methods to find them, it should be thought of as useful and valid as any science is.
