Mobile phones have become one of the most common technologies in young people’s lives, which is why their place in schools has become such an important question. A modern smartphone is much more than a device for making calls. It can function as a calculator, camera, dictionary, map, calendar, notebook, scanner, audio recorder, translator, internet browser, communication tool, and access point to educational platforms. A student can use one device to check homework, photograph notes, search for information, communicate with classmates, listen to educational audio, practise a foreign language, or organise deadlines.
