Organizational Culture and Corporate Social Responsibility
A key topic of discussion in the contemporary corporate world is how corporate social responsibility (CSR) relates to organizational culture. It has become clear to many businesses that operating in an isolated space is not possible. It is for this reason that the integration of corporate social responsibility into the corporate development strategy is becoming a distinctive characteristic of international corporations. There is a consensus that improving a company's corporate image is dependent upon improving all aspects of corporate governance, including corporate culture, transparency of operations, and public awareness. Improvements in corporate governance and culture can contribute to the growth of business reputation, a higher level of intangible assets that are dependent on a positive image of the organization, stable business relationships, and the popularity of the brand name.
Thus, the purpose of this paper is to clarify the multiple facets of the concept of corporate social responsibility, consider its effects on contemporary organizational culture, and provide some examples of corporate social responsibility implementation.
