In conclusion, the women of each village/ Clan had had to do mostly the same work but, different aspects of it. The Sub-Saharan women had to work and had much more of a social status then the Islamic & Indian women had. While both worked, and cultivated crops, the African women, if they had they ability, were able to gain a high position in of power. Also, Women in general during that period, had to follow much stricter rules for fidelity and chastity than men did. Women would also be punished more severely than men for the same crime. Other than child bearing the other top skill that women had was cooking, it took much skill and a lot of training. Additional skills that they had achieved over time were farm work and clothing making.…
