Discourse historical approach (DHA) analysis of extracts from a leaflet

The topic of these articles is racism, and the British far-right party has created them. We will analyse how they present their ideology in these texts. They are extreme nationalists, and it is reflected in their ideology and view of immigrants.

First strategy. Nomination

Anthroponym: Hazel Blears; Nick Griffin (these names are mentioned because they are important people, Nick is BNP chairman, while Hazel Blears is Communities Secretary)

Ethnonym: British, English, Scots, Welsh, Irish, Brits, indigenous people of Britain (the mention of these ethnonyms to be specific, to know which communities precisely are targeted by racism or drawing attention to specific communities because it is important for them to know what is happening. People of Great Britain are the ones who should listen to this message, it is not just about people in Europe or any white people, it is about white Great-Britain indigenous people)
