1. Requirements and general performance of landing gear
1.1. Landing gear design requirements
The following design requirements are identified to be satisfied: ground clearance requirement, tip-back (or tip-forward angle if tail gear) angle requirement, take-off rotation requirement, overturn angle requirement, structural integrity, aircraft ground stability, aircraft ground controllability, low cost, maintainable, and manufacturable.
1.2. Landing gear configuration
This is a transport aircraft, and the passenger’s comfort is an important requirement. So, the tail gear, bicycle, single main configurations would not satisfy this requirement. Three viable configurations are: 1. tricycle or nose-gear, 2. quadricycle, and 3. multi-bogey. Since the aircraft weight is not very high, both quadricycle, and multi-bogey configurations are set aside due to their cost and weight. Therefore the best landing gear configuration for this aircraft is Nose gear or tricycle. An attractive feature for this configuration is that the aircraft will be horizontal at the ground. The passengers do not have to climb during boarding period. The nose gear also decreases the take-off run, and at the same time, the aircraft will take-off sooner.

Pastiprinātas ribas bultskrūves savienojuma ar spārna lonžeronu projektēšana
Pastiprināta riba piestiprināta pie spārna lonžerona divu kronšteinu ar n_b bultskrūvēm. Pastiprinātas ribas izkliedētas maksimālas slodzes kopspēks ir vienāds ar Q_y^u. Tad vienas bultskrūves vidējais aksiāls spēks maksimālā slodzē ir:
P_b^u=(Q_y^u)/n_b = 111286.426/8=13910.8 kN
un no stiprības nosacījuma bultskrūves minimālam drošam diametram jābūt
d_bmin=√((P_b^u)/(σ_u k_n ))=√((Q_y^u)/(n_b σ_u k_n ))= √(13910.8/(850*10^6*2.2))=0.00272 m
kur σ_u ir bultskrūves materiāla stiprības robeža, k_n ir koeficients, kas vajadzīgs lai ievērot slodzes nevienmērīgu sadalījumu starp bultskrūvēm ( kursa projektā pieņemt intervālā 2-2.5). Pēc bultskrūves minimāla droša diametra noteikšanas to vajag saapaļot līdz tuvāko lielāko standarta izmēru.
Kursa projektā bultskrūves materiālu jāizvēl no tabulas pielikumā. Pie tam jāņem vērā, ka lai nodrošinātu bultskrūves noguruma stiprību jāizvēl materiālus ar labākiem plastiskuma radītājiem (standarta parauga šķēluma relatīvu sašaurinājumu, materiālu tabulā tas ir A5.%). No materiāliem tabulā šai prasībai vislabāk atbilsts vidējas stiprības tērauds 30301 ar A5=12% un titāna sakausējums Ti-13V-11Cr-3Al ar A5=23 %.
Bieži standartā ir dots bultskrūves sagraujošais spēks P_max. Šajā gadījumā bultskrūves šķēluma standarta izmēram jāizvēl no nosacījumā.
