A community responsible for its own destiny, not to be bought except with its consent, is on the face of it a license for management to do as it pleases. After the constraints of is bounded space have been met, it is accountable only to its members. The details, however, are less important than the principle, that the board of trustees holds the accountability of the membership of the corporate community within that hexagonal ring, It is my belief that the businesses of Germany and Japan are thought of more as communities than as properties.

Es piekrītu, ka ir vajadzīga zināma veida pilnvaras, ar kuru palīdzību vadība būtu atbildīga par pilnvaroto valdi, kuras uzdevums, iespējams, ir pārraudzīt nevis virzienu, bet gan galveno pilnvaru aizstāt ar pārvaldību, ja tās nespēs iekļauties kopienas darbā.
