Summary of "The Diamond Lens"
Simon made him promise to keep his secret. Then he took a small box from his pocket. Inside was a large diamond. Simon said that he got it from a man in South America. He decided to steal Simon’s treasure. He saw only one way how to get a diamond. He wanted to kill a Simon. While Simon looked at the diamond, he decided to put the drag in his glass. Simon fell asleep in fifteen minutes. He put his diamond in pocket and carried Simon to the bed. He wanted to make the police think that Simon tried to kill himself. He start stab to him and Simon must have died immediately. He washed glasses and took the two wine bottles away. Left the lights on, closed the door and went back to his apartments. No one discovered Simon’s death until three o’clock the next day. One of the neightbors called the police, because no one was answered.
Police questioned everyone, but soon forgot about him. Three months after Simon’s death he worked day and night.
