Women in Politics. Sieviete politikā

Es stāstīšu par sievieti politikā, jo daudz kur valda uzskats, ka sievietei politikā nav īstā vieta. Manu prāt, sieviete politikā ir tas pats, kas vīrietis. Iespējams, pat labāk, jo sievietes ir jūtīgākas, saprotošākas, tādejādi tām ir nedaudz savādāka attieksme pret notiekošo.

Jaunākie statistikas dati liecina, ka no kopējā Latvijas iedzīvotāju skaita 46% ir vīrieši un 54% - sievietes. No Saeimā ievēlēto deputātu skaita sievietes ir 1/5.

I am going to tell about women in politics; because there is a popular opinion that it’s not the right place for them. I think that a woman in politics is the same as man, perhaps even better, because women are more sensitive, understanding, so they have a bit different attitude for the events around them.

The newest statistic dates show that 46% of the Latvia’s population are men and 54% - women. The fifth pare of the deputies of the Saeima are women.…
