The transport is the means, which helps us to move people or objects from one place to another.
The first transport for people was themselves – they went on foot. And this is still the most popular way of moving. Then people started to use animals – horses, camels, elephants, donkeys – because it was faster and more easily for long and not so long distances. But on the one animal could move just 1-3 people, so they invented carts and coaches, so one animal could move more people. Then came vehicles – monocycles, bicycles, but in 19th century vehicles got motors – arose first cars, trains, buses. Already since long ago people used boats – to move on water. Similarly as developed vehicles, from boats ensued motorboats, yachts, ferries, steamers, liners, ships and so forth. …
