For example, if you have some new staff, you could delegate smaller tasks to them to build their confidence and competence. The team leader is not the only one who sees advantages of delegations. Employees will see benefits for themselves. It's worth the time and energy to help employees succeed, develop and meet your expectations. Furthermore, delegating would help you to save a lot of time for some primary tasks. By not delegating you may get yourself overwhelmed and then your performance and health will suffer. Giving some tasks away might also relieve some of your stress.
To sum this all up, I believe that delegation has a lot of pros. Delegation will benefit your team, your department and your organization. By allowing your teammates new ways to show their responsibility, you get their respect and loyalty. You build the employee's self-confidence and people who feel successful usually are successful.
