Drugs in Society

The suppliers will be in-house American farmers who must first attain a government issued license and pay taxes on their crops. They will be required to pass a serious of exams and follow certain growing methods for maximum efficiency. Production and distribution will be privately owned and ran.
The second issue of this policy deals with inequality and racism. In order to truly alleviate drug addiction and sales in prominent areas such as the black ghettos the government must generate jobs and opportunities for poor black people. This would require more money going into ghetto school systems so inner city children have a way of escaping the ghettos. The funding should not all be spent on sports programs rather it should be spent on hiring high quality teachers and purchasing high quality equipment. Once the primacy of education is upheld, drug use as well as criminal activity will begin to decrease and the government should jumpstart commercial businesses in the inner city to generate wealth. As wealth begins to generate these cities will be able to stand on their own and equal opportunity will become much more apparent.
