These two topics are what many feel will lead to the 2004 presidency. The research done by USHLI states that Latinos are concentrated in the states with large numbers of electoral votes, which account for 70% of all votes needed to be president (Hernandez, 2001). Bush along with his advisors must carefully go about this situation and come up with a plan that will not only make the Latino population happy but the American citizen population happy. This will result in more votes and maybe a change in the way Latino's vote today. Latinos have proven they cannot be told what party they belong to. So the myth that Latinos are mostly Democrats may be just that, a myth.…
