The Malaysia Government also encourages country's economies to make greater investment in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) education. Development of concerted efforts on the part of NGO's to include ICT activities as part of their current and long term development agenda. The government did put in effort in community development that is, enabling accessibility especially for the digitally marginalized community. In Malaysia, there is a pilot project for single mothers. A single-mothers' T-centre or teleworking centre is funded in Bandar Tun Razak, help and train them exploring to the Internet access and some relevant IT skills in order to create the economic for the mother, It is a pretty success real case that occurs in Malaysia (Dr. K.J.John, 2003).
Conclusion
In the case of Malaysia, the imperative to develop into a knowledge-based (K-based) economy is crucial in order to achieve Vision 2020. Therefore, there is a need for Malaysians from all walks of life to be able to use information and communication technologies to access information, communicate with others, and participate in social and economic development. Not being able to access basic information would relegate one into the wrong side of the digital divide.
