Decisions-economy
Germany’s great strength in exports has been somewhat immune to COVID
German exports have bounced back to levels last seen three years ago, with a trade surplus of €110 billion in the first half of 2021.
Germany did put its fiscal prudence on hold to deal with the pandemic, condoning a budget deficit of around 6% in its efforts to support citizens and businesses

Decisions- entertainment
Berlin will ban unvaccinated people from restaurants, bars, cinemas and other entertainment venues
Outdoor events with more than 2,000 visitors will also be off-limits to unvaccinated adults
On November 26, along with other EU states, Germany imposed a temporary ban on arrivals from South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia and Eswatini until further notice.

Decisions-healthcare
"By the end of this winter everyone in Germany will either be vaccinated, recovered or dead," Jens Spahn told a news conference in Berlin on Monday.
Mr Spahn said he was against making Covid vaccines compulsory, but that it was a "moral obligation" to get the jab because it impacts on other people.
"Freedom means taking responsibility, and there is a duty to society to get vaccinated," he said.
