All Abu-Jamal works were published only after his death.
Mumias works aren’t fairytales, those are essays published in books. Those are kind of monologue stories.
One of the best books is ‘Writing on the wall’, it is with more than 100 previously unpublished essays in it, where he tells about community, politics from his point of view.
And the second one I thought would be very interesting is ‘All things censored’ with more than 75 essays. Where he tells us about United States prison system including ironies, and his own case too.
In his books the main character is himself, because these books are like monologues.

Mumia Abu-Jamals quotes
‘If you ain’t angry, you ain’t paying attention’
‘Today’s empire is tomorrow’s ashes’
‘The state would rather give me an uzi, than a microphone’
