We cannot imagine nowadays without adverts around as, they are everywhere, on our screens, streets, and radios. Marketing has developed over time, and technological development brought new ways how to create adverbs and display them. Marketing in nowadays is not only companies’ activities to do to get sells better, but it is a whole social sciences.
The author got inspired to write about advertising posters in 1920s and nowadays from F. Scott Fitzgerald novel “The Great Gatsby”, more precisely, from the Chapter 2 where in the Valley of Ashes is the billboard of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg’s eyes. From this research author wants to understand how advertising posters have evolved over the past 100 years, and has these changes been good and justified.
