This paper aims to analyze what ethical issues does a higher education institution has with divestment in fossil energies, what arguments exist for and against a consensus divestment in fossil energy industry at large, as well as attempts to outline few broad directions in which to continue path to transition to renewable energy sources. This paper is partly based on Toffel and Gulick (2020) piece on fossil fuel divestment.
