Linux is more secure than windows, where hackers or developers of viruses will find it difficult to break through Linux.
Windows is the major target for developers of viruses and malware, and it is most vulnerable without anti-virus software.
Users looking to change operating system from windows to Linux or vice-versa will have a good idea of the advantages and disadvantages of both Linux and Windows operating systems and decide based on their requirement and have more advantages

Unix, Linux and Windows are well known operating systems. They all are unique and serve their best to specific user requirements and market needs. Linux and Unix offers great speed and security, on the other hand, Windows offers great ease of use, so that even non-tech-savvy people can work easily on personal computers. As for coding, all of these operating systems has their own high points, while Linux provides all the permisions for user to manage it's working space, Windows strickens it out with less possible changable content, and Unix which gives almost the same amount of permisions as Linux, all of these operating systems provides space for coding. The best operating systems in which to code for the people who wants to do it, would probably be Linux and Unix, cause they give the most of the workplace for the user.
