Effective Crisis Communication: Moving From Crisis to Opportunity
The third chapter is “Lesson of Effective Crisis Communication”. This chapter examined effective crisis communication based upon best practices in the field of crisis communication. Authors examined the role of listening in effective crisis communication, the need to understand the variety of audiences that an organization will have to face and what these audiences want to hear. Also they mention the power of positive thinking and its effect on moving beyond a crisis.
So far I can’t tell that these chapters have taught me very much, but the information that I got is very interesting and useful. I believe, that next chapters will give me more knowledge. Also I think that everyone who is studying public relations should read this book, because knowledge in crisis communication will always be useful and required.
